How do I enable Proctorio lockdown?

Learn how to improve testing integrity by securing your students' browsers.

On any Derivita assignment, you can turn on Proctorio-powered lockdown settings in order to

  • Prevent copying and pasting
  • Keep students from looking at other pages
  • Give students access to an on-screen calculator

and more.

Heads up: there are stricter system requirements for assignments that use Proctorio.

Please use the following article to make sure that students will be able to use it:

If you're giving an in-class assessment, you can instead use Derivita's Focus Mode. It doesn't provide the same level of security, but it's a way to minimize distractions in-class, without needing to install anything.
