How do I try an assignment as though I were a student?

Use Student View to get familiar with what students see and check that your assignment is set up the way you want it.

To access Derivita's Student View, simply click on the eye symbol located in the upper right corner of the assignment.

You can now try out any question as a student and check your answer to view the feedback and worked solutions, depending on how you configured the assignment type and settings.

This will allow you to try out not only the assignment questions but also make sure the assignment settings are behaving as expected.

To leave Student View, click the X next to the assignment title. This will take you back to the Educator Dashboard.
