Learn to delete data, so it doesn't appear when you look at reports.
If you see scores in Derivita Insights that shouldn't be there—they are for a test account, the student took the wrong test, or so on—it's easy to remove them.
- Determine which student and assessment you want to remove
- Open the assessment in your LMS (Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Click Students (in the top right)
- Click the student's name to view their scores
- Click the 3 dots in the top right and choose Reset Student Exam
- Choose Restart From Scratch
That will delete the student's data for the assessment, and once the reports update overnight, they won't be included in the results.
Heads up! If the student opens the assessment after you reset it, they may re-appear in the reports with 0s. For this reason, we recommend that you prevent students from accessing the assessment again. You can use the features of your LMS to do so, by unpublishing or otherwise making the assessment unavailable to them.
