Learn how to connect Derivita to your Google Classroom
Step 1: Log in to Derivita Assignment Assembly at homework.derivita.com with your school Google account.
Pro tip! Make sure to bookmark this URL (homework.derivita.com)
Step 2: You will then be taken through steps to provide Derivita with access to certain items in your Google Classroom. This will allow Derivita and Google Classroom to talk to one another, so you can share assessments/assignments to your Classroom.

Important! If you do not grant access, you will receive an error message when trying to create assessments.
Step 3: Once you have authorized Derivita, you can now add practice assignments and assessments to your Google Classroom course.

Pro Tip! We highly recommend selecting “CREATE DRAFT” when sharing a Common Assessment to your Classroom. You can then assign it when you are ready to administer it or you can schedule it to open for your students in Google Classroom.
Step 5: In Google Classroom, you can then set the due date and can edit any other assessment settings such as assigning only to specific students, etc. Assign when ready to be live to students.
Important note about copying Derivita Assignments: The “Reuse Post'' option in Google Classroom does not work with Derivita assignments (even though it looks like it does). To copy a Derivita assignment, go to homework.derivita.com and create a new assignment from the existing one under the MyTemplates section. Then, you can select the course in Google Classroom where you want to post it. Video walkthrough here.
