Derivita Distractor Analysis
This overview will show you how to quickly identify trends in your student responses and evaluate misconceptions in order to inform your teaching strategy
The Derivita Distractor Analysis is an aggregated way for you to see the different ways your students responded to each question. Reading the report from left to right, you can see the largest number of answers to the smallest number of answers. The color of the boxes tells you whether the responses were correct (green), partially correct (yellow), or incorrect (red).
How to Access the Derivita Distractor Analysis
The Distractor Analysis can be viewed at the Teacher level, PLC level, School level, and District level.
- Once in reporting, choose an individual assignment
- Select "Distractor Analysis" at the top
- Hover over any box within the report to view the response, the number of responses, the score, average minutes, and which standards are associated with that question.
