Learn how to add missing students and remove withdrawn students.
Derivita doesn't receive a roster from your LMS, so there may be times that its list of students doesn't match what the LMS shows. It updates to match over time, but you can learn more and manually make changes with the directions below.
Students are added to Derivita's list when they first open a Derivita assignment in the course. So if some students are missing near the start of a course, that's normal; they just haven't opened Derivita yet.
To add a student to the list, have them open any Derivita assignment in the course.
Derivita tries to automatically hide the information of students who are no longer in your course. But if you need to do so by hand, you can use the following steps:
- Open any Derivita assignment and click the Students tab
- Click the Remove Students icon
- Click Remove next to the student you'd like to hide from the list
